Our client an established and expanding FMCG company are currently recruiting for a Junior/Trainee Production Planner to join their team.
Key Duties:
Planning
Using the 4-week footprint create efficient weekly plan for frozen working alongside production managers (Frozen).
Create weekly plan for fresh based on forecasts previous sales.
Ensure full utilisations of coding to ensure no waste and shorts (Fresh).
Deliver recovery production plan against order shortfalls.
Utilise forecast information to balance stock.
Update customers regarding availability of stock.
Manufacturing
Monitor factory performance and adjust plans accordingly.
Create recovery plans if production short.
Raise any issues with production short.
Raise any issues with production to Trainee/Operations Manager.
Advise production on specific run orders.
Chair production planning meeting with manufacturing.
Material Storage
Ensure production is withing agreed Max/Min stock holding. Raising any issues to appropriate areas.
Work with Box team regarding stock management.
Align corrugated stock with requirements capacity in storage area.
Issue/adjust all stocks.Experience Skills Required:
Manufacturing Experience.
Planning knowledge.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Packages and administration experience.
Ability to communicate with all levels of the team.The Role:
Competitive salary depending on experience.
Monday - Friday - 45 hours gross per week 40 hours worked, hours dependant upon needs of the business.
