Employability Tutor
Intro: S Knights Recruitment is excited to be working with an employment provider who has been changing lives and creating futures for over 25 years! They help find suitable employment for individuals with all types of different needs by supporting and guiding the employer every step of the way. They are currently looking for an employability tutor to join their growing team!
Role and Responsibilities:
As an employability tutor you will be responsible for:
- Delivering suitable careers advice to the group of learners
- Helping build employability by creating cv writing or mock interview workshops
- Building confidence of learners to be able to go and find a suitable job
- Working with learners on a one to one a group basis
- Engage, encourage and motivate learners to remain on provision
Experience and Skills:
As an employability tutor you will need:
- Previous experience teaching employability skills
- Have managed own caseload of learners
- Experienced in preparing session plans
- Working with minimal supervision
- Have a relevant teaching qualification (AET/PTLLS/DTLLS/CTLLS/TAQA/CAVA ECT)
- Good communication skills and organisation skills
