A school in South Reading is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join the support staff team.

Requirements for this role are as follows:

• A degree.
• Aspirations of a long term role within the education sector.
• The ability to provide consistent support to students on both an individual and small group basis

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, the role will involve:

• Working as part of the SEN Support team, providing assistance to students with a range of individual needs.
• Creating and developing resources and educational material.
• Shadowing teaching staff, implementing behaviour management strategies as well as acting as a pastoral link for students.
• Providing in-class assistance within the classroom, as well as support across the school site for students.
• Working across a variety of different subjects, gaining an appreciation for the different ways children with SEN retain information.

• Located in Croydon.
• There are several transport links located close by

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
