Science Tutor (1-2-1)
Randstad Education are delighted to confirm that we have been approved as a partner on the National Tutoring Programme (NTP).
This particular vacancy is in the centre of Sheffield and will start at the end of January and be ongoing for 15 weeks. This school is looking for a Science teacher to work Monday to Friday 1-4pm daily. They have specifically asked for a teacher with QTS.
This is the ideal opportunity for any qualified teachers, experienced teaching assistants, graduates with previous tuition experience who are interested in supporting local schools across South Yorkshire.
We are currently working with a large trust in Sheffield who will be looking for tutors in English Maths and Science. This will all be secondary education.
The NTP aims to support schools in providing a sustained response to the coronavirus pandemic and to provide longer term contribution to closing the attainment gap.

Supporting pupils aged 11-16 with KS3/4 English Maths & Science
Working in partnership with a number of schools to deliver 1:1, 1:2 and 1:3 tuition
15 hour tuition blocks with identified pupils
Full CPD and training provided ahead of beginning tuition programmes

Planning time
As a tutor you will be expected to plan and mark work and assess student progress. Randstad uses an excellent system that makes tracking progression easy for everyone. There will be full training provided.
