At Nuffield Health, you’ll discover nursing as it should be - with more time to care, and to get to know the people who are your patients. Responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care are provided, you will support the Ward Senior Sister in the efficient running of the ward. Coordinating activity, you’ll be instrumental to making sure patients receive seamless, personalised care.

Here, you’ll have the privilege of working directly with consultants who are experts in their field. Your knowledge and skills in assessment, care planning and delivery will make a valuable contribution to the patient’s experience. So will your commitment to creating a supportive and enabling working culture on the ward, which promotes patient staff and safety.
A flexible and creative practitioner, you have excellent communication skills and an enthusiastic, forward thinking approach. Equally confident working solo and as part of a team, you demonstrate excellent leadership and ward management skills - including a commitment to role modelling good practice and actively developing staff. Your wide range of nursing skills and knowledge includes care of patients pre and post operatively, following a wide range of surgical procedures: Cardiac, Colorectal, Orthopaedic, Day-care, Plastics, ENT, Gynea, Urology and more.
