What is the Transfer Agent group responsible for?

The TA support our clients in trading with us, in many ways are the client face of our business. This role focusses on assisting with operational requests, resolving administration enquiries, regular client requests and general team support within the Client Dealer Services Team. This entails servicing clients by email, phone or other written correspondence. 

What are the ongoing responsibilities of the Client Services Trainee – I2020?

  • Approve outgoing UK documents to clients from the external vendor system
  • Chase outstanding Debtors and Creditors
  • Preparation of client month end valuation and transaction reports
  • Respond to customer enquiries, determine the customer concerns/problems and help to resolve any issues 
  • Verify customer requests to ensure information is correct and in good order, and take appropriate action
  • Correspond with customers via fax, chat applications/website, email or complex written correspondence
  • Identify trends and recommend improvement opportunities to streamline business processes resulting in greater efficiencies, productivity and/or service
  • Develop and leverage internal and/or external relationships to achieve shared priorities/goals, satisfy customer needs, resolve problems and increase business insight/awareness
  • Complete Distribution pre-advices for large distributors/platforms
  • Assist with CDS project work, most notably for ad-hoc project mailings, as and when required, often to tight deadlines
