RAC are now recruiting for a Junior Data Analyst on a 3-month Fixed Term Contract basis . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to gain exposure with a well-known UK Brand and develop their analyst skills further. You can expect to be working across our Branded Contact Centre and putting your outstanding Excel and analysis skills to great use.
As a Junior Data Analyst with the RAC, you will be extracting and mining raw data in Excel from daily cases that are logged across our CRM systems, as well as creating new formulas and interpreting data to produce accurate presentation decks. As part of the role, you will be reporting your findings into the insight team and the Branded Contact Centre partners to develop and maintain the capability in this area. Through your hard work and strong working knowledge of Excel, you will be helping to identify business trends and reporting outputs of management information to ensure business targets are met.
While this role is usually based in our Bescot office, our teams are currently working from home. There may be a requirement to be in the office occasionally when it is safe to do so, we also may be able to offer flexible working in the longer term.
Role purposeWe are looking for someone who has extensive knowledge using Microsoft Excel, with the ability to use various basic Excel formulas (VLOOKUPS, COUNTIFS/SUMIFS) and experience of using Pivot Tables. In addition, you will also need to be confident using Microsoft PowerPoint as you will be collating your data into PowerPoint decks and reporting your findings back into the Insight Team. You can expect to be dealing with multiple stakeholders internally and externally across the business so will need to be confident when communicating and presenting your findings back. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar data analysis role; however, this is not essential. RAC can be a very fast paced environment, so you need to be comfortable working towards tight deadlines and multi-tasking, whilst still providing solid and accurate analysis.
