Our client, a leading Scottish Law firm, is currently recruiting a Solicitor to join its Rural Land and Business team in Edinburgh. The successful candidate should have between 1 – 4 years’ pqe and have commercial and property experience. Your duties will include:
Processing instructions from our retained Estate and land owning clients including advising on residential, agricultural, sporting and commercial leases Voluntary registration of title of rural properties Sales/purchases of estates, forestry, farms, country houses, steading conversions/plots and cottages Security work for commercial lenders Representing land owners in negotiations with utility companies Advice on impact of law reform This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in this specialist area.
