A school in Manchester is looing for a Maths Tutor to join the team on a part-time basis. This role is suitable for:

• Qualified Maths Teachers.
• Maths Graduates.
• Maths Tutors.

This role will involve:

• Working with students across both KS3 and KS4, many of whom have SEN or are from disadvantaged backgrounds.
• Running through past papers, developing students approach to exams and developing pupil confidence.
• Developing rapport with students, and being able to display resilience in order to help pupils achieve their goals both in the short and long term.
• Providing progress data to the head of department and SENCO, whilst identifying key areas where improvement is required.
• Preparing students for GCSE exams, as well as internal asseessments.

Pay for this role will be between £18 and £25 per hour.

Please note that sessions will begin ONLINE, before moving to in person tuition once normal service has been resumed within schools. Applicatoins can only be accepted form applicants living in Greater Manchester.

The school is located in Manchester, and is easily accessible from the city centre.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
