To be considered for this SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity you must have the following:
*1st or 2:1 Russell Group (preferable) Psychology related degree
*Education experience – tutoring, classroom assistant
*A passion to support and motivate others
This is your opportunity to put your theoretical knowledge into practice, and combine it with relevant training and paid work experience whilst supporting and mentoring a year 6 pupil.
To be considered for this role you must be a graduate with a passion for Special Needs or Child Psychology and will be supportive and caring with a "firm but fair" approach. The school will want to see graduates with the ambition to become Educational Psychologists or Child Psychologists who are keen to build relevant experience in a paid role providing support on a 1:1 basis.
For this role you must be a strong-willed Psychology graduate who has at least received a 2:1 in your Psychology degree and experience supporting SEN children.
The Primary School which is situated within the Kensington & Chelsea borough was graded as Good in its last OfSTED inspection but ambitious Head Teacher has been working hard to ensure the next grading is Outstanding. The building has a modern and colourful feel to it whilst still having its Victorian feel in place. Its walls are decorated with the student’s colourful and vibrant artwork and there is an impressive library situated on the first floor.
