Overview


As a Delivery Network Engineer, you'll join a highly-skilled engineering team that are tasked with the delivery, maintenance and evolution of the bet365 platform. The team has grown in-line with the exponential growth of our company and we're now looking to expand further. Our network is extremely resilient to support the continued growth of the platform and consists of a wide range of technologies from many market leading vendors so it's a fantastic place to develop and learn new skills. 


The day to day work is interesting, challenging and fast paced amidst a hardworking and delivery focused company ethos. Ideally you will have a sound understanding of network protocols such as OSPF, IPSEC, HSRP,802.11, BGP but we welcome applications from everyone, so feel free to reach out if you'd like to find out more.

Main Responsibilities 


  • Responsible for the delivery tasks of all virtual and physical assets associated with Network Engineering Delivery Projects deployed within bet365, using internal applications and tools to aid the transition from design to commission
  • Configure and upgrade various network devices such as routers, switches firewalls and VPNs
  • Perform system upgrades and network maintenance including license upgrades and patches
  • Work within established change and configuration management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of the changes made to the network infrastructure
  • Able to support Senior network design engineers on business critical projects through the project life cycle and contribute where necessary
  • Liaise with other internal and external teams for problem resolution
