A school in Manchesteris seeking an Online Geography Tutor to work as part of the National Tutoring Programme. The role will involve tutoring students across both KS3 and KS4. The majority of tuition will take place with Year 11 students preparing for their GCSEs.

Applications are welcomed from:

  • Geography Teachers (QTS)
  • Individuals who have tutored Geography previously.
  • Geography Graduates (must have prior teaching/tutoring experience)
  • Highlights of this role:

  • Working with students across a wide range of ages and abilities, as well as students from various different backgrounds.
  • Delivering school curriculum to a high standard, whilst having an understanding of exam board expectations.
  • Managing the needs of students with SEN (Dyslexia, Dyspraxia)
  • Implementing strategies that are designed to keep pupils focused and engaged with work set.
  • Maintaining high levels of teaching at all times, displaying clarity in delivery of sessions at all times.
  • Providing feedback when necessary, ensuring that students are set realistic and achievable learning objectives for students.
  • Pay is at an hourly rate between GBP18 and GBP25.
