I am currently partnering with a large technology company that specialise in software for the construction industry who are looking to add a Graduate .NET Developer to the team. They are based in the heart of Newcastle city centre and they create an enterprise software platform with thousands of end users from small companies to large global organisations.
In regards to remote working, they are currently working on a fully remote basis and will be returning to the office with a part remote working policy in place with up to 3 days working from home per week.
They have 3 development teams making up of around 20 developers + QA testers and UX Designers. The role will give you lots of progression and training opportunities, working in a team using .NET Core, GraphQL and the latest JavaScript Frameworks. They work in an agile environment with 2 week sprints and implement best practices such as TDD into their work to write clean and scalable code.
They have a great working environment with a relaxed culture that includes flexible working hours, casual dress code and a very sociable team/company. The team regular go for beers/food after work and the whole company are known to gather on a Friday for beer, wine and games after the working day is over.
Each developer has a set annual training budget to attend .NET talks and conferences as well as workshops on new technologies and best practices. Some of the team have recently been on a 5 day Test Driven Development course.
