Data Quality Apprentice

University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust has an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to join our Performance and Information team as a Data Quality Apprentice.

The key responsibilities of this role are to work with the Information Team and with the RTT (Referral to Treatment) Validator. You will be required to assist with the management and distribution of various data quality reports to ensure information contained within the patient’s electronic record is accurate and up-to-date. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the appropriate GP details are on the patient administration system every month for accurate sending of correspondence to GPs.

The post holder should have an accurate eye for detail, good organisational skills and to be able work either alone or as part of a team. It is also essential for the successful candidate to demonstrate compassion, respect and commitment to learning. This post will give the successful applicant an opportunity to learn the skills associated with business administration and data quality within a large organisation, whilst studying for a nationally recognised qualification which may be a gateway to further career opportunities within the NHS.
