New Business Sales - Graduate

Job description

We have an opening within our Commercial sales team, based from Manchester. You will work on new business sales initially, building up your book of accounts which you will then be responsible for managing. We are looking for someone with a passion for Technology who enjoys an outbound sales role and has proven success bringing on new accounts and working with lapsed clients. This is a great opportunity for someone who is wanting to build on their current knowledge and learn new skills within a supportive, large organisation.



Main duties:


  • Making outbound calls to new or lapsed clients
  • Building relationships with key and emerging technology partners
  • Client retention and driving new business opportunities
  • Working to revenue and profit based targets (team or individual based)
  • Managing and maintaining an accurate system based sales pipeline
  • Support the production and delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual profit based forecasts
  • Building and managing a book of accounts



Skills required:

  • Ability to quickly build rapport and develop strong professional relationships with Clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to credibly discuss and understand client business issues and challenges
  • Ability to build rapport and develop strong professional relationships with Clients
  • Basic understanding of contracts, Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) and the ability to negotiate standard and non-standard T&Cs
  • A team player who can work successfully within a diverse team in a mutually supportive way, including technical and sales teammates in multiple/virtual locations
