An opportunity has become available for a University or HNC professional who is looking to build & develop a career in engineering sales.

The base salary will increase significantly on completion of training

You will be working for a UK National company with multiple branches and well over 100 employees. This is a position and industry where successful sales people can earn an exceptional remuneration.

The job:

Building relationships with builders, developers and consultants in order to secure sales orders and service contracts. You will gain an in depth knowledge within a specialist engineering industry.

Daily Duties:

• Capitalise on sales opportunities and convert deals
• Follow up on business opportunities via email, call and site visits
• Create a pipeline of warm sales leads and customer prospects
• Plan, prepare and successfully deliver product presentations
• The successful candidate will need to be accountable for their own performance, time management and sales targets.
• Understand customers' needs and potential opportunities to better service their requirements

Suitable applicants will:

• Be educated to HNC level or above
• Be self-confident
• Able to communicate at a senior level both orally and in writing
• Be self-motivated
• Be a quick learner and eager to learn
• Sociable and able to build relationships
• Engineering background an advantage but not essential
