Graduate KS1 Teaching Assistant

Have you recently graduated in an education related degree and are looking to gain some experience in a classroom environment?

Are you an aspiring KS1 teacher who would benefit from working as a Teaching Assistant prior to starting Teacher Training in September?

An excellent primary school in a deprived area of Liverpool is looking to appoint a passionate individual to become part of their KS1 team…

  • Graduate KS1 Teaching Assistant
  • Full-time, long term role running until the end of the academic year
  • Earn up to £350-£375 a week as a Graduate KS1 Teaching Assistant
  • Work alongside class teachers in Year 1 and Year 2 classes
  • Provide 1:1 support to children as well as working within small groups
  • An Education related degree with minimum 2:1 is essential
  • Located 5 minutes from the centre of Liverpool with great transport links
  • Opportunity to do in-house Teacher Training from September
  • Interviewing remotely immediately

As a Teaching Assistant in Years 1 and 2 you will be expected to work in tandem with class teachers to interact with the children in an exciting and enthusiastic manner.

The school is looking for a recent graduate with a passion for teaching and education who would be suited to working at Key Stage 1 level with children in Years 1 and 2. You will be expected to work alongside the class teacher, providing 1:1 support to children who require extra attention as well as working in small 'catch-up' groups helping children who have missed out on some English and Maths work during school closures to get back on track. The role is full-time and would suit someone who has a passion to take on their Teacher Training in the near future.
