Business Operations & Acceptance Analyst
London

As a Business Operations & Acceptance Analyst, you will have an exciting opportunity to join Barclays in the Global Digital & Platforms team, who’s responsibility is to influence the global digital transformation strategy. The main purpose of your role is to document, test and validate key processes associated to operational/service readiness activities and subsequent service transition into BAU including the design, measurement and maintenance of SLAs for all key Platform related services.

What will you be doing?
• Defining and setting the strategic direction for business architecture and operational acceptance and effectively communicate the vision in order to drive decision making
• Establishing Controls and Monitoring processes
• Utilising target operating models within a transformation
• Working with delivery managers, developer, test, infrastructure and service management leads to define dependencies for successful implementation of operational activities
• Leading operational design reviews, show and tells etc to ensure the deliverables match the vision and deliver on the success criteria
• Ensuring all key deliverables are in compliant with key regulations, enforced right controls and measure the outcomes
• Working collaboratively with impacted business areas, functions and third parties to ensure all business and operational readiness activities are appropriate, compliant and efficient
• Monitoring contiually and assessing the operational effectiveness of the platform initiatives

What we’re looking for:
• Educated to Degree level or can demonstrate equivalent experience
• Knowledge of key regulations associated to customer, channel, product and merchant business and assess the impact associated to key operational processes and procedures
• Understanding the operational design and business architecture frameworks and apply them to Barclays connected platform use cases to drive customer and commercial outcome plans
• Demonstrable knowledge of existing, emerging technologies and their potential application to deliver robust services to enable business outcome

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Adept at evaluating economic, market and customer trends affecting the business and its customers
• Understands the technology features for Barclays or equivalent sized corporate for digital, operational and CRM services.
• Understanding of the merchant, corporate payments, partner finance & cards operations and technology landscape and innovations 
• Regarded within the business as an expert and consulted with for their opinion on matters

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links.
