Sales Intern (Remote)

As the sales intern, you will be working directly with the sales team and the founders supporting the execution of the sales strategy. Your hours will be flexible, and we are happy for you to work from home with a daily check-in. We are offering a 3-month internship with the opportunity for a paid position depending on performance.

What are you going to do:

The coffy app is a startup business based in London changing the way people discover and drink their daily coffee (or tea, or hot chocolate). Partnering with local independent coffee shops, our new app provides individuals the opportunity to discover hidden gems in London and their local area, support small businesses, all while saving money by purchasing a coffy subscription!

We are a small, friendly, and open team of 7, working hard to grow and develop the business during these unprecedented times. We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic sales intern who is keen to learn, has an eye for detail and is passionate about all things digital.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Engaging with prospect retailers through site visits, phone, messaging, and emails
  • Following up with decision makers to close sales on the phone, or setting up physical meetings
  • Engage with Face-to-Face meetings with decision makers 
  • Account Management: Assisting retailers with completing the sign-up process, as well as ongoing support and then helping share the relevant account details, including lead name and other key information, with the account management team (if deemed necessary)
  • Working closely with the Marketing team to help build the content calendar through gathering relevant store information to promote across our channels
  • Helping to ensure Coffy's CRM is kept up to date and clean
  • Help to streamline the admin process with any new and relevant ideas.

What we ask:

  • At least finished university degree -We also accept those working towards a degree
  • A degree/ working towards a degree in sales and marketing or equivalent
  • Some knowledge of London and are passionate about coffee and the high street
  • Fluent in English, numerate and be able to compile reports and analysis
  • A super positive person! You’ll be working in a demanding and ever-changing startup environment so this is key
  • A self-starter who can work independently
  • An amazing communicator
  • A fast learner who is keen to share new ideas
  • A digital native and competent across social media channels
