This role is perfect for college/uni students or anyone who wants extra cash. But they need to have a genuine interest in social media and food! It is a 6 month contract starting from April 18th 2021.
- You will need to know, have an idea, or be willing to analyse Tik Tok's algorithms
- Post on Tik Tok once a week at first (could develop to twice/three times a week)
- Engage with the audience; message back, discover other users, like their content
- Keep the brand relevant
- Identify the times/days engagement works best
- Focus on UK
- You will be creating fun Tik Tok content
- You will be keeping up to date with the hashtags and trends
How your working days will be:
- You will be working flexibly at home
- On your first day of work (Sunday 18th April) you will be expected to have training at Walthamstow market and there you will receive your fryer and a few stock to get you going). – You will be paid for the training per hour on top of you additional monthly sum
- You will be required to visit the markets 2 times (once a month, Truman Brewery Saturday and Walthamstow market on Sunday)
- You will be attending any major events (at least once) to film for Tik Tok such as Taste of London and Adventure Cinema
- You will post a minimum of once a week (4/6 times a month)
Content:
- You will be frying ice-cream
- Cutting into it
- Pouring sauce on it
- Squirting whipped cream etc...
- You can video your journey to the market
- Creating something really cool however you would like (you have the freedom to do what you want)

What you need:
- You will need to have either a good quality phone such as: Iphone11, pro,12, max or Samsung 20, 21, 21 ultra, note or Huawei Mate 40 pro, P40 pro or Google pixel 5, One Plus 8 pro.
- A good eye
- Knowledge of Tik Tok
- Video editing skills
Serious stuff
- You will need to sign an NDA contract along with your normal 6 month contract (which can be extended)
- You will be paid direct into your bank account, unless you would like payslips please let us know!
Pay/Benefits:
- £250 a month + bonuses + travel
- If any posts reach a viral target, you will receive an additional bonus on top of your fixed sum (details will be given)
- You will be provided with a fryer (which you will have to give back in good condition, at the end of your contract)
- You will be given stock (have space in your freezer for it)
- You will be allowed to work anywhere you want
- You will receive travel money to the market and any other place of work
- You will be trained on how to make the deep fried ice-cream
- You have the option to be trained up to Level 2 for food and hygiene, First Aid and Covid regulations
