At Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust we have lots to be proud of:
The role of a chemotherapy nurse is to provide care for cancer patients receiving chemotherapy or other Systemic Cancer treatments (eg: immunotherapies) and is a challenging and rewarding field in nursing.
Due to our expanding team we are looking to recruit nurses who are committed, motivated and forward thinking to complement our existing team in achieving the best care for our patients receiving these treatments.
This post provides an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic person to work with the multi-disciplinary team to provide treatment for patients with a cancer or haematology diagnosis.
We are seeking an experienced nurse with leadership and managerial skills with a passion to specialise in cancer and haematology nursing based at Wycombe and Stoke Mandeville Hospital.
Previous experience in the administration chemotherapy is not essential as training will be given, however experience in the administration of IV therapies, cannulation and venepuncture is essential.
If you are a person with leadership skills, working in acute setting and are keen to specialise in cancer this could be your opportunity to progress.
