Introduction

As an experience Sessional Therapist, join the multidisciplinary team at Elysium Therapy Brighton and enjoy being a part of an environment that offers practicing privileges for experienced clinicians.

You will provide assessments and psychological outpatient services for Adults, Children and Adolescents. The service is open between Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm and has twelve bright, comfortable and spacious consulting/therapy rooms.  

As a Sessional Therapist, you will develop individualised care plans, implement a range of psychological interventions, and provide specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals, including undertaking risk assessments and risk management for individuals.

You will be responsible for collecting and analysing routine outcome measures and will ensure reports and other correspondence are entered into the relevant notes and communicated to the wider team.

To be successful in this role, you'll need

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive and solution focussed approach
  • Interest and experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Registration/accreditation with governing bodies such as HCPC, UKCP or if you are in training, preliminary accreditation
