Trainee Nursing Associate - COVID-19 in Harrogate

INTEGRATED ROTATIONAL TRAINEE NURSING ASSOCIATE (TNA) PROGRAMME Commencing June 2021

Do you work in a health and social care role... or would you like to? Are you interested in progressing your career to a NMC registered Nursing Associate as well as building skills across the health and care sector?

The University of Huddersfield in collaboration with Health Education England and the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care Partnership are planning an exciting new Urgent and Emergency care TNA apprenticeship planned to commence in June 2021.

Through this new pathway you would undertake the NMC (2018) approved Nursing Associate Apprenticeship programme which means 20% (1 day per week) theory, 20% in supernumerary placements across the four fields of nursing. The unique element is the final 60% where you will undertake work-based placements which will involve rotation through Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC) settings in primary, secondary and social care. There are also opportunities for specialised areas of care such as Mental Health and Learning Disabilities or paediatrics.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with an interest in undertaking this unique programme of learning. Applications are invited from experienced HCA with level 2 Maths and English.
