The Opportunity 

As part of our continued growth and expansion, we have an exciting NEW role for a Junior Digital Learning Developer to join our group Digital Learning team. Reporting to the Digital Learning Manager, the successful candidate will support the development, implementation and monitoring of all aspects of Digital Learning for Dechra in order to support the corporate brand and ensure that the business develops and maintains its competitive advantage.

Based at our state of the art offices in Sansaw, Shrewsbury, the Junior Digital Learning Developer will possess a creative skill set and will support the Digital Learning team in the development of new digital assets including eLearning courses, videos and graphics.

The Challenge

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

• Supporting the Digital Learning team to develop and enhance Digital Learning for the Dechra Group
• Maintain and administer the Learning Management System (LMS), supporting all users across the Dechra Group and our external customers
• Manage and respond to internal and external user enquiries 
• Work with the Digital Learning team to build awareness of and promote the Dechra Academy externally through a variety of online and offline channels
• Maintain awareness of advances and innovations within the Learning and Development industry
• Keep up-to-date with competitor developments to help maintain Dechra’s competitive learning advantage
• Be an ambassador for learning in the workplace
• Ensure that all digital assets follow the corporate branding guidelines and enhance the corporate brand

About You

Here at Dechra we pride ourselves on being an inclusive employer and we embrace candidates from all walks of life. We’re particularly keen to hear from those who have/are:

• Experience of eLearning authoring tools including Articulate 360
• Experience of using and administering LMS platforms
• Experienced application of the Training Cycle, ADDIE model or similar
• Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (inc. Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook)
• Demonstrable design experience, such as graphics, photographic, audio and video design and editing
• A desire to keep up-to-date with the latest, and emerging, advances in digital learning technologies
