IT Service Delivery Manager


We have a great opportunity for a dedicated IT Service Delivery Manager to join our growing team in York.

You’ll be responsible for establishing ITIL best practice methods, owning the IT service delivery mechanisms, and managing IT provision to the business.

The purpose of the role is to ensure the “right fit” processes are in place, taking overall leadership of any IT issues impacting business operations, and working with the appropriate internal support teams and external partners to achieve service levels and end user satisfaction.


Key responsibilities:


·       To own incident, request, change and associated escalation processes.

·       To take ownership of major Incidents to ensure coordination of resolving parties, effective communication to stakeholders and post incident review in line with major incident management process.  

·       To monitor and assess performance to ensure we’re meeting defined SLAs/KPIs and to prepare relevant reports in line with customer requirements.  

·       To drive service review meetings and facilitate third party service reviews covering performance, service improvements, quality, and processes to enable continual service Improvement.  

 

What you’ll bring:


  • Understanding of Infrastructure technologies, telephony, networks, and business applications.
  • Strong customer service, project management, and quality control skills.
  • Excellent leadership and customer service skills.
  • Experience of managing IT service delivery and resolving cross functional IT issues in a fast-growing organisation.
  • A team player, with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to own issues and bring solutions.



This role will participate on an on-call rota (1 in 3 weeks).

The position will be predominantly based on-site in York, our office is based at Clifton Moor. Flexibility may be required to attend sites as required.
