My client are looking for an experienced Junior Software Engineer with a background using C++ to join their team.
They are looking for someone who will be helping to build the desktop applications by implementing new features based on customer feedback or research from our scientific team. As part of this you will be designing and implementing GUI, Python API’s and Python scripts.
Key Responsibilities
• Work with the scientific team to integrate new research methods into the applications.
• Design and implement GUI using Qt.
• Design and implement Python API’s bindings to C++ using pybind11.
• Write Python scripts to enhance functionality of the applications.
• Perform code reviews.
• Create unit tests and benchmark performance.
• Work with the scientific and QA team to find and fix bugs.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degrees in computer science, or a related field or equivalent experience
• Years of C++11 experience
• C++11 (Updating to C++17 soon)
• Linux, Windows, macOS
