Extraordinary times need Extraordinary people

Have you been affected by the outbreak of coronavirus – we need extraordinary people to support our vulnerable residents within our care homes.

We have various opportunities available on short and long term contracts.

As one of the largest healthcare providers in the UK it’s important to us to couple great care with meaningful and enjoyable experiences.  If you’re a kind, warm and compassionate person and like to have a positive impact on peoples’ lives, then working as a Care Assistant for brighterkind will be the right role for you.

You will be delivering quality personal care to each of our residents, your daily tasks will include supporting them with washing, dressing, eating and maintaining their hygiene, as well as ensuring they feel part of life in the home.  This will see you providing care, warmth and kindness to help make a difference. You also will develop relationships with our residents’ relatives which will support you in understanding their needs more and developing that personal care.

If you are a hardworking team player who wants to work in a thriving community, understand what is important to those you are caring for and make sure their lives are as happy as they can be, then the role of a Care Assistant could be perfect for you.  If you possess these qualities then experience of working as a Care Assistant isn’t necessary.  We provide you with excellent learning, development and support opportunities, to equip you with the knowledge and skills to make a real difference in the role.

To succeed you will be:

  • Passionate about offering superior services and want to make a difference in everything that they do
  • A sense of humour and positive outlook on life – glass half full rather than half empty is key!

We have various opportunities to suit your lifestyle and ensure your work life balance.  As well as a competitive salary we offer:

  • Excellent days holiday
  • Various shifts available including working 3 days on and 4 days off
  • Access to excellent learning and development opportunities
  • Discounts and benefits suited to your lifestyle
  • Free onsite parking
  • Free uniform
  • NEST work place pension contributions
  • Long service awards

All offers of employment are subject to satisfactory references and a DBS check.

As you can imagine we receive very high volumes of applications for some of our roles.

Whilst we are not able to respond personally to each applicant, we appreciate the time you have taken to consider and apply for a new role with brighterkind.

If you have not heard from us within 4 weeks, then on this occasion your application has not been successful.

Please keep checking our website for upcoming opportunities.
