Senior Staff Nurse - COVID-19 in London

We have an exciting opportunity for an E Grade Nurse to join our Urology, Nephrology and Neurosciences Unit based at 20 Devonshire Place (W1G) with an inclusive salary range on offer of £38,906 - £43,590. Our Urology & Neurosciences unit comprises 15 patient rooms all with en-suite facilities. We provide medical and surgical care to patients with a range of diagnostics from the different specialties, including Neurosciences, Andrology, Nephrology, and Urology. We are also pioneers in robotic interventions for Urology patients.

Job Description

To be responsible for the delivery of the highest standards of care and service to the patients and to work in accordance with the London Clinic nursing strategy and contribute towards achieving its objectives.

  • Job Type: Permanent and Full Time
  • Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, mixed shifts
  • Salary:£38,906 - £43,590

Duties & Responsibilities

  • To maintain accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating programmes of care within the framework of nursing incorporating the Named nurse initiative.
  • To coordinate the patients’ discharge arrangements in accordance with the London Clinic discharge policy.
  • To promote a patient focused approach to care in collaboration with all relevant health professionals.
  • To educate patients and their carers as required where a need has been identified.

Skills & Experience

  • Two years post registration experience in a general surgical area
  • NMC registration
  • Cannulation and Venepuncture
  • Tracheostomy Care
  • Male Catheterization
