Oxfordshire’s Community Hospitals have exciting nursing opportunities on offer and are welcoming applications from second year and final year students who are due to qualify, newly qualified registered nurses and return to practice nurses who will be obtaining an Adult Registered General Nurse qualification.

Following completion of your interview, we will reserve job roles for you until successful completion your degree.

You will have the chance to begin your nursing career in our inpatient wards and be part of our teams, who are passionate in providing sub-acute and rehabilitation care to our patients. Our Community Hospitals are located in Abingdon, Bicester, Didcot, Headington, Wallingford and Witney.

At our Abingdon Community Hospital, we have one of Oxfordshire’s leading Stroke Rehabilitation Unit providing fantastic opportunities for you to progress your career into this specialist field of nursing.

You be will part of Oxford Health’s new flyer programme which is a two-year development course as part of the preceptorship programme supporting all newly qualified nurses in becoming excellent leaders of care. The programme has preceptorship at its heart and provides our nurses with the opportunity to gain academic accreditation during the first preceptorship year and the chance to gain further accreditation in their second year of qualifying.
