Part-time Consultant Psychiatrist
If you're a Consultant Psychiatrist looking for a new part-time opportunity to join a friendly multidisciplinary team in an acute setting, then come and work in the new 10-bedded ward for males at Chadwick Lodge in Milton Keynes.
This established service looks to continually innovate, improve and deliver excellent care for its service users, and has an active programme of education and research and provides significant developmental opportunities for its staff.
As a part-time Consultant Psychiatrist working 22.5 hours per week, you will deliver an evidence-based and focused treatment plan to support the admissions to this acute ward. You will be supported on this ward by a full-time Associate Specialist.
You will work alongside a full multidisciplinary team to create tailored treatment programmes to support the individual needs of each service user and work in close liaison with community professionals who will be sending their patients to this service.
There is an on-call element to this role. You will take part in a 2-tiered non-residential on-call system alongside five other Consultants. The on-call frequency for this job will be calculated pro-rata.
