FULL TIME ONGOING Pre Delivery Inspector £9.19ph
We are currently recruiting for a client in Immingham for experienced Pre Delivery Inspectors Category B Drivers, who hold a full UK driving licence and for insurance purposes have to be 22 years old+ and have held licence for 12 months+. These roles are FULL TIME, ON GOING Monday through to Friday with occasional weekends (in peak periods).
Candidates are expected to work Monday - Friday, 12 hours shifts and have experience in the ability and experience of inspecting vehicles on site. This company is one of the fastest growing logistics companies in the UK and are expanding rapidly, heading into another peak period of the year, therefore we are seeking hard working individuals who are looking for work.
Duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate:
* Preparation of new vehicles in accordance with PDI schedules for Client Fleets
* Diagnose and report any defects on these vehicles.
* Ensure that all repair documents are completed as required.
* Carry out safety checks / levels checks / bodywork inspection & tyre work to all types of vehicles
* Constructive liaison with workshop team members & working to deadlines
* Be able to maintain a high level of efficiency
Essentials:
* Full UK driving licence (Category B), held for 1+ years.
* Must be 22+ years of age due to insurance
* Licence to have a maximum of 3 points on licence, no more
* Must have no DR/DD/CD40/CD70/LC or TT99 endorsements
* All shifts will be held in Immingham so own transport is essential
* Experience and ability of inspecting on site and driving long wheel based vehicles
