We are an online EdTech provider, with a unique platform (SchoolOnline.co.uk) that offers video-based tuition in English and Maths at GCSE and KS2 level. It is our mission as a company to level the educational playing field by ensuring all students have access to top-quality tuition.
The Marketing Assistant will support our Head of Marketing in researching and implementing a diverse range of marketing strategies, growing our social proof campaign, analysing marketing activities and creating marketing collateral.
As an EdTech start-up now in our growth phase, we have an extensive strategy of marketing activities and channels. Building awareness in our target customer base, increasing the visibility of the company, and increasing our conversion rate and customer acquisition is essential to our current stage.
The Marketing Assistant will perform a vital role in this and will be part of a small, flat structured team where everyone’s input is valued.
The marketing assistant will be expected to perform the following type of activities
- Provide regular reporting on our metrics (visitors, usage, conversion) and identify trends and highlights within the data
- Regularly participate in Sales strategy meetings to help p
- Research and implement improvements to our Electronic Customer Relationship Management flow
- Analyse market conditions and competitors
- Assist with creating content for our blog to build our top of funnel audience
- Participate in testing of new development to ensure quality
- Work closely with our customer services desk to identify opportunities and issues
This role will initially require working from home.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Google suite (slides, sheets)
- Knowledge of WordPress a plus
- Excellent communication skills with a high standard of written English
- Marketing experience/educational background a plus but not required
- Good understanding of social media marketing
- Strong numeracy skills
