Huawei is investigating ways by which Knowledge Graphs can power its next generation products and help provide added value to end-users. The two key problems related to Knowledge Graphs consist of constructing high quality knowledge graphs in a scalable manner as well as using their rich structure to perform various reasoning tasks like semantic search, question answering, and more. The project involves research and development on various problems related to Knowledge Graphs including but not limited to: information extraction, natural language understanding, semantic search (information retrieval), question answering, dialogue-systems, reasoning and more. The default goal of an internship is a paper on novel research submitted to a top-tier conference. Candidates would have the opportunity to gain experience in many different AI technologies like NLP, ML, KR, Semantic Web, and more.
