Department overview

The department is responsible for raising the invoices for some products and the credit control on all products. It consists of one supervisor and two credit controllers

Outline of role

The role mainly relates to credit control activities but there may be elements of billing as well. It is an entry level role and no experience is required, training will be given on the job.

Key responsibilities

1. To monitor and track the outstanding debtors on all ledgers
2. To call and email customers and request payment
3. To resolve invoice queries
4. To raise credit notes
5. To escalate non payers to the legal process
6. To allocate cash received onto the ledgers
7. Any other work that will assist with billing and credit control

Skills required

Numerate

Experience of office systems, in particular Excel and Word

Confident and friendly telephone manner
