A specialist Office Administrator operating from the headquarters based in Blackburn, Lancashire. Due to the development, within the accounts/office environment the business is now expanding and seeking for an Office Administrator on a basis to join their business, this is a great opportunity to develop and gain the basic skills within Finance.
Your new role
Office Administrator duties will include taking phone calls of people chasing payments, dealing with supplier's queries, inputting purchase invoices, dealing with AP queries, document upload, Customer POD, purchase orders and working alongside certain teams to ensure all administration work is completed efficiently.
Therefore, your responsibilities will include great communication, ensure all processes run at full capacity to meet deadlines and consistently in line with our processes to ensure high operational standards and provide regular feedback. You will be accepted to work collectively within a team to achieve best practice by offering solutions and support
The working days are Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you will need to be immediately available and have basic administration skills, interest within accounts, an excellent telephone manner and a desire to develop and progress.
All data received must be calculated correctly, therefore, an attention to details is paramount, along with a strong understanding and professional/enthusiastic outlook towards customers/clients is essential. A good track record of working independently, tactfully, and professionally overcoming objections, along with a basic knowledge of IT systems.
A pass level in both Maths and English GCSE.
