Job description

Role purpose

A great entry level role for someone with a passion for Affiliate Marketing specifically; this performance-based marketing channel works with a wide range of publishers which provides platforms to promote our client's brand and products. You will support the affiliates team with the day-to-day running of affiliate marketing campaigns across a range of clients and verticals, delivering exceptional affiliate marketing. You will research and prepare analysis, undertake affiliate delivery work and liaise with clients, publishers, third party suppliers and internal teams to ensure optimal delivery, account development and the strengthening of client relationships.


Main responsibilities

  • Support the team with the day-to-day running of affiliates campaigns across a range of clients and verticals
  • Undertake comprehensive research against briefs
  •  Build a strong relationship with key clients, networks and publishers, liaising with them as necessary to ensure delivery against the campaign plan
  • Become competent in the use of affiliate marketing tools and techniques and apply these to project work as directed
  • Research and prepare project documentation, presentations, analysis and reports
  • Prepare cost estimates, project schedules, budgets and timelines
  • Coordinate internal project teams and third-party suppliers
  • Carry out affiliate administration as required, including but not limited to, note taking, booking meetings and drafting agendas
  • Take on ad-hoc tasks as required

 

Skills required

Essential

  • Passion for marketing and business and a keen interest in affiliate marketing
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships with suppliers, publishers and other networks
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to conduct research and present back findings coherently
  • Ability to multi task in a fast-moving environment
  • Initiative and self-motivation
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong MS Office package experience


Desirable

  • Some experience in a digital marketing environment as an intern or in a previous role
  • Knowledge of project planning software
  • Experience of using analytics and affiliate marketing packages
  • Experience with SEO KPI definition
