Part-time Logistics and Admin
We are a small Pan European food importer looking for a remote (home-based) part-time Logistics and Import/Export Coordinator for 16-20 hours/week. This role is an integral part of our Service Desk, booking deliveries around Europe, making sure they arrive on time and liaising with the sales team and customers.
We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, who works quickly under pressure. You will have a lot of autonomy, so it is important that you are an excellent communicator and can work effectively with remote teams. You should enjoy communicating with customers across Europe and developing a relationship with them.
Job responsibilities
Raising orders and generating a full set of of shipping documents
Booking orders with warehouse and trucking companies
Logistics management
Maintaining great levels of customer service
Skills
Advanced Excel essential
Used to working in fast paced environment
Excellent Inbox organisation
Italian or other languages would be very useful
Experience:
Customer service
Perishable food not essential but a big advantage
Logistics, inventory management and sales invoicing
This is primarily an order processing role but could also suit a candidate with some logistics or procurement background.
We can offer reasonable flexibility in hours if that suits. Ideally starting at the 16- 20 hours per week but could be more hours for the right candidate. Location - Southern England but could be flexible.
