RES Skills and Employability Tutor

6hrs pw, temporary

£11.45ph plus holiday pay

Rotherham Education Services supply the RNN Group with flexible temporary workers. We are currently for Skills and Employability Tutor to ensure we can meet any business demands, whilst continuing to offer an outstanding learner experience for our students.

The Role

We are looking for an energetic, innovative, flexible individual who is fully committed to the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults to help learners reach their full potential. You will be situated within curriculum areas responsible for a case load of learners from level 1-3. You will lead on Employability within these areas ensuring progression routes and work readiness of learners.

You will be responsible for setting targets with learners and employers, tracking learner progress to promote positive outcomes. Positively embracing change and equally understand the challenges faced within the Further Education sector. You will also plan, promote and deliver impactful employability and enrichment sessions / events which meet learners needs and interests and which further develop learners’ wider skills and qualities such as, confidence, teamwork, leadership and citizenship.

Have you got what it takes?

In an ideal candidate we are looking for:

• Experience in a similar position within education
• A qualification in related area or relevant knowledge and experience
• Maths and English at a minimum grade C/L2

Hours of work would be:

Tuesday 10:45 - 12:15/13:00 - 14:30/14:45 - 16:15

Thursday 14:45 - 16:15
