Sales Manager/Brand Ambassador in Brownhills

Job description

We are looking for an experienced sales manager to help develop and grow our brewery and brand.

The Backyard Brewhouse is a well established multi award winning brewery. We have an outstanding reputation in the cask and bottle sectors for the quality and consistency of our beers. We are striving to maximise our potential in these areas and move into new markets with our keg and can products. With investment over the last 12 months in a craft pilot brewhouse and canning line, we have taken those first steps into these markets.

With plans in place to relocate to larger premises and invest in new, state of the art brewing equipment, you will be at the heart of helping us achieve our goals

What we are looking for

• At least two years experience of sales and account management in the beer industry
• Experience in both field and telephone sales
• Highly motivated with excellent communication and organisational skills
• Demonstrable new business success, account development and new lead creation
• Independent, free thinker, able to work individual and within a team structure
• Enthusiastic, engaging and persistent personality

The Role and Responsibilities

• Manage and develop existing account relationships
• Identify and secure new sales and relationships
• Form and execute sale plans for both current and new customers
• Develop long term sales strategies for the growth of the business
• Accurate sales reporting to Directors
• Opportunity to build and grow a strong brewery sales team
• Support our brand through customer visits and trade events

Commencing salary will be between £24,000 & £32,000 based on experience and evidence of previous development
