Sales and Marketing Intern

Are you enthusiastic? Outgoing? Do you like meeting new people? Have an interest in the Bar/Pub industry? Join us as a sales intern! You will get to work directly with the founders of a new app start up called Tipple! Assisting them with the execution of their sales strategy. We are looking for people with a silver tongue who can talk about the Tipple app to bar managers and bar owners around London. The opportunity will be rewarded for good work!

What are you going to do:

Tipple app is a startup business based in London, offering a unique experience for the bar and pub goer.

We are a small, friendly, and open team of 3; working hard to grow and develop the business. We are looking for bright and enthusiastic sales interns who are keen to learn, have an eye for detail and are passionate about tech.

  • Your responsibilities
    Lead generation - engage with bar managers and bar owners face to face by visiting their sites in selected areas of London.
  • You will be provided with an attractive bar brochure and will need to talk about Tipple to the appropriate person.
  • Help to streamline the administrative process of onboarding bars.
  • Following up with decision makers to close sales, via phone, email and or in person.

Extra information

  • The aim for Tipple is to provide users with live information about the bar (such as the busy level and queue time) to give them a snapshot of the vibe of the bar in real time.
  • Once a user has checked into a bar, they can then view special offers and get live updates from the bar itself. Users can interact further by adding friends and notifying them about which bar they are experiencing. Armed with this information, users can make an informed decision of their bar destination depending on if they’re up for a big night out or a cosy catch up!
