A number of teaching and learning strategies are used to deliver this curriculum including hands on practical work in addition to written and drawing tasks. Assessment in the main is portfolio based, students undertake practical tasks in our dedicated Motor Vehicle workshop where a range of vehicles are available to work on. The Motor Vehicle department is part of the Vocational Faculty, historically this is one of the best performing faculties across the academy.
