Qualified Commercial Accountant in Bradford

We're always looking for qualified commercial accountants to join our Finance team, located at our Head Office in Bradford, West Yorkshire. Are you a qualified Accountant, ideally practice trained, with good commercial knowledge?

We're looking for candidates who have proven experience working in a commercial, business partnering role. Our Commercial Finance teams are true business partners to the wider business undertaking analysis, and providing commercial advice to decision makers and key stakeholders. Your influence will truly matter and you'll make a difference by driving change and efficiency within your team. 

Other responsibilities include:

• Identifying financial risks and opportunities for departments, allowing the business to respond on a timely basis.

• Participating in projects based on providing expertise and support for improving business processes and procedures.
  

• Developing and maintaining relationships with stores and internal stakeholders, to understand and meet their needs.
  

• Consulting with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements and identify opportunities to speed up and simplify.
  

• Producing budgets for key financial metrics.

• Providing variance analysis and trending techniques to measure performance against budget, forecasts and business cases.

• Producing periodic forecasts to enable stakeholders to understand the implications of current spend behaviours on the full year.

You'll ideally have the following skills/experience:

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA).

• Good commercial knowledge.

• Ideally practice trained.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills (both internal and external) and an ability to influence at all levels.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Attention to detail with ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload to meet agreed deadlines.

• Experience of working in an accounting/finance environment in a similarly large business.
