About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Studio Photographer to join our team based at our Handforth Head Office. This is a great opportunity to let your creative imagination flow. You will be responsible for supporting the organisation and creative execution of studio and campaign/project photography. You should have a minimum of at least one years’ experience in a similar role and will be required to showcase your work with your portfolio. A core part of this role will require you to both scout and shoot on locations, so driving is a must.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)

• Responsible for photography of existing products and new ranges in line with briefs including concepting (where relevant), shooting, coding, editing and uploading.
• Delivery of high-quality creative lifestyle and campaign photography, end-to-end, including concepting, moodboards, location scouting, art direction etc
• Display sound knowledge of creative thinking including studio set creative and location shooting where required and working with models and animals
• Demonstrate the skillset to independently manage shoots where required, including the planning and organisation of photography for key campaigns/project shoots.
• Ability to demonstrate strong post-production skills on all required imagery e.g. retouching, cropping, resizing, etc
• Organise and source props and supplies for photography shoots
• Source and book pet models for photography shoots where required
• Display an ability to problem solve/willingness to suggest solutions before and during shoots e.g. understanding how to work with various pets to get the best results
• Work with the Digital Studio Manager to manage personal photography schedule/workload, including demonstrating a clear ability to manage expectations/deadlines and forward plan
• Display appropriate knowledge of photography techniques and hardware/software to elevate photographic capability within the studio
• Excellent photographic and technical understanding
• Flexible in responding to shifting business priorities, and prepared to work effectively against tight deadlines
• Show fantastic interpersonal skills to help build and develop relationships with key stakeholders across the business

About You

 Whilst having a photography qualification is desirable, it is not essential. You should have experience using Light Room or Capture one and Photoshop. This is a very fast paced and busy role.
