Pay: KR3 Start Date: September 2021 We are looking to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking and supportive team. This is a 5 day role which involves working 1:1 with a child in Year 1 or Year 2 and is a temporary role linked to this child. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday, term time only, during the hours of 8:30am to 3:20pm. The role will also involve working during the lunch time period with an unpaid lunch break of 30 minutes provided. Previous experience of working with a child with additional needs would be beneficial. We are looking for someone who has: • experience of working with children with communication and language needs and ASD; • passionate about enabling every child to fulfil their potential; • experienced in delivering interventions; • able to contribute to, and work as part of a team; • good communication skills and a flexible attitude; • effective time management and an ability to work on own initiative. The school has been expanded to two form entry from September 2016 and had a new building constructed. There are currently two classes in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, Year 3 and Year 4 and one class from Year 5 - Year 6. All classes have support assistants. From September 2021 there will be a second Year 5 class. We are very lucky to have modern buildings and facilities and spacious grounds.
