Pay: £18,135.33 pro rata Start Date: September 2021 We are looking to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic and motivated teaching assistant to join our friendly and welcoming team at Charing CE Primary School. The position involves working in partnership with class teachers with an aim to achieve the best outcomes for our children, supporting a small group of children with academic and emotional needs. You need to understand how to motivate and encourage pupils to make progress and have the ability to differentiate and adapt learning programmes to suit varying needs. The successful applicant will have a good standard of spoken English and will have achieved English and Maths GCSE qualifications to at least a 'C' grade. An NVQ Level 3 in Learning Support or Level 3 Teaching Assistant is desirable. The successful person will support our Christian values and ethos. This is a fixed term contract for one year commencing September 2021. This position is part time, for a minimum of 15 hours/week and will include lunch-time supervision.
