Delivering Waitrose online customer grocery

Working Pattern: Friday and Saturday
Shift: AM shift stating work time between 5am-7.30am or PM shift starting work between 1pm-3pm
Hourly rate: £11 per hour (increases to £11.25 after 6 months)
What's the role about?
You'll be the welcoming face of our business - the helpful driver who delivers the unique blend of Waitrose & Partners quality and outstanding service of a specialist food shop right to our customers' doors.
This is a really important 'front line' role. You represent us with every single customer you meet, and their impression of Waitrose Partners and Wincanton is down to you.
What you'll be doing as a Customer Delivery Driver:
You’ll be delivering Waitrose online customer grocery orders across London. You'll get the chance to meet and talk to different customers every single day, with no two days being alike.
So, as well as having a flexible approach, personality, enthusiasm and the ability to use your initiative to deal with unexpected situations, you should be passionate about providing the very highest levels of customer service.
Here's what you must have:
You’ll need a full valid UK manual driving licence with no more than six points - and can't have been disqualified from driving within the last 10 years. Also, you should be 18 years old and have the right to work documents. Part of the application process will include a licence check and a basic DBS check to confirm your suitability for the role.
Here's what else you could bring to the role:
Previous experience in retail, face to face customer service or a driving role and a knowledge of chilled vehicles would both be welcomed.

This role is at our new Customer Fulfilment Centre in Greenford, UB6, which processes and delivers Waitrose & Partners online shopping orders across London. The nearest underground station is Greenford.
