The Opportunity
We are looking for someone who is a graduate who is intelligent and is able to work on their own initiative in a combined Accounts, Admin and Recruitment Research Assistant role. Down the line, as you will be exposed to both the recruitment side and the back office accounts admin side of working at a recruitment company, you will get to choose what you wish to specialise in. In that regard, this is a unique opportunity to contribute in an area the interests you most down the road.
We are a highly successful, quality-focused recruitment company that have a turnover exceeding £7 million. We operate successfully across a number of market sectors with a diversity that includes top 5 banks, a dozen London local authorities, growing, cutting-edge SMEs and Times Top 200 corporates.
Role Duties Summary
One part of role will be involve helping our accounts and Back Office team with invoicing, basic bookkeeping, compliance duties such as chasing references and other Back Office activities that occur at a recruitment company.
The other part of the role will be assisting the company's Recruitment Consultants find suitable candidates for roles that our clients have given us to fill. This will consist of searching for suitable candidates within a variety of sources including job boards and LinkedIn.
Role Duties (in-depth)
Research / Resourcing Aspect
- Searching for CVs on job boards such as Jobsite, Reed, Etc
- Searching for relevant profiles using LinkedIn Recruiter
- Contacting (by email or phone) relevant candidates to determine availability and suitability (on a very basic level)
- Placing job adverts that Consultants have constructed on various job boards
- Searching for relevant CVs using the internal database
- Using other networking methods to find other candidates eg social media
Accounts / Admin Aspect
- Invoicing
- Timesheet administration
- Spreadsheet admin
- Data input
- Compliance activities such as chasing references
- Basic bookkeeping
Training
The successful candidate can expect to receive full hands-on training on all aspects of the recruitment industry. A lot of the training will revolve around how to read CVs quickly and identify suitable candidates for a particular role effectively. Initially all training will be done online via Zoom and/or Skype.
We have a relaxed but highly professional office environment. The role would suit someone who has good concentration levels. Whilst we do have a laugh and a joke, as we are very much focussed on quality-oriented service delivery for our clients.
We have a 40 hour working week.
