In order to support the core customer service functions of our fast paced business, we are seeking an experienced Receptionist/Administrator for our busy evening period, ideally with plenty of freight forwarding knowledge and experience. This role has a wide remit in handling a variety of administration, logging and solving issues whilst ensuring the standard of service provided remains extremely high at all times.
Reporting to our Aviation Security Manager, your responsibilities and duties will include:
- Assist with the ZenDesk customer service system with hands-on handling of queries and enquiries, often with time-critical responses required.
- Act as the first point of contact with our warehouse, drivers and accounts teams to ensure smooth coordination of freight receipt, storage, handling and forwarding, resolving any issues along the way.
- Produce documentation and communicate with all stakeholders by phone, email or in person.
Skills & Experience
- Freight forwarding industry knowledge and experience is advantageous
- Experience in and the appreciation of excellent customer service provision
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Knowledge of ZenDesk an advantage
- Very good command of English, both written and oral
- A can-do, hands-on attitude
- Ability to remain calm in very busy, time critical situations
Hours of Work : Evenings, Monday to Friday, 16:00 to 21:00 (25 hours per week)
In return, we're offering a salary of between £13,300 to £14,500 depending on experience, 28 days's holiday (rising to 30 days after 2 years, including public holidays), on site parking, workplace pension, Company clothing provision.
