About Steel City Interactive

Steel City Interactive are a Sheffield based game development studio. They have recently created eSports Boxing Club, a realistic boxing game made from the ground-up with the professional boxing community. Established in 2020, they already have 20 employees and have big growth plans. They are looking for someone who is passionate about gaming and wants to play a part in creating a brand new game.


What we are looking for

  • Have some experience (from your studies, projects or hobbies) of C#/C++, (with knowledge of object orientated programming)
  • Great at solving problems and able to make suggestions for improvement
  • Be eager and keen to learn
  • Self-motivated and good time management, with the ability to work independently
  • Able to plan your own workload to ensure you deliver within agreed timelines


The following would be a bonus, but don’t be put off if not!

  • Network / Multiplayer experience


Qualifications

  • Be a graduate of any degree, provided you have a keen interest in software development
