This role will ideally suit a graduate, A Level school leaver or career changer who has a genuine interest in developing a career in the Financial Services sector.

Job Purpose:

1. Provide support to Advisers / Planners in managing new and existing client relationships

2. Ensure day to day client administration and queries are handled promptly and to high standards

3. Assist the company in achieving growth targets

4. Free up time so that the Advisers can give more time to business development opportunities

5. Assist the company in providing a comprehensive service to clients

6. Strengthen client relationships through effective and timely service

7. Deliver high quality, compliant and ethical service to clients

8. Develop an understanding of all roles within the firm and how they interact Role Development

The individual will be placed on a 4 year development plan, during which time longer term career planning options will be mutually agreed. We will work with you to choose your ongoing specialism as a Senior Paraplanner or Financial Planner with both routes leading to Certified status with the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI).

Key areas of focus will be:

1. Develop as an effective Administrator supporting Advisers in preparing for client meetings, including booking and ensuring compliance requirements are met

2. Learn post meeting processes, including submission of pensions, investments, protection and estate planning paperwork etc.

3. Develop ongoing knowledge of systems and tools used within the firm, to allow for productive use of time and maintenance of client data

4. Manage client queries and the day to day contact including progress updates

5. Expand on knowledge gained in year 1 to prepare more complex client letters

6. Further develop technical knowledge which will allow for the handling of more complex queries

7. Working with Advisers, determine strategies for clients to ensure that they can achieve their lifetime goals

8. Conduct research on existing client plans to allow for analysis and recommendations to be made Education and Training:

1. Diploma Qualification - The candidate will be supported to study for the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning if not already held

2. The individual will be trained in performing the administration and introduced to a Paraplanner role within the firm Skills,
